Redbridge Quay is a major residential development on the Wirral waterfront, forming part of the wider Wirral Waters regeneration scheme – one of the UK’s largest brownfield redevelopment projects. Redbridge Quay is in the Northbank neighbourhood of Wirral Waters, near Birkenhead docks. The project is designed to transform former industrial dockland into a sustainable, mixed-use waterside community.
The key aims of the development are to deliver modern, energy-efficient housing, regenerate underused brownfield land, create a walkable and community-focused waterfront environment, and support wider economic growth across the Wirral region.
The Forshaw Group is a development partner and contractor on the scheme and responsible for helping deliver around 90 new homes. The development is part of Peel Waters’ long-term vision to turn the Wirral docks into a vibrant, sustainable waterfront destination.
